What is OMV SmartPass (EETS)?
It is an EETS on-board unit that settles road tolls in 19 European countries under one contract and one invoice. ONYX is an official OMV agent for SmartPass devices and fuel cards for companies based in Poland.
Which countries does SmartPass cover?
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.
Does SmartPass work with the Polish e-TOLL system?
Yes. Poland is one of the 19 SmartPass countries, so e-TOLL charges are settled with the same device as the rest of the route.
Does SmartPass cover tunnels, bridges and ferries?
Yes. SmartPass covers the Fréjus and Mont Blanc tunnels, the Blankenburg tunnel in the Netherlands, and selected bridges and crossings.
How is the exchange rate calculated?
At European Central Bank (ECB) reference rates.
How much does SmartPass cost?
You pay road tolls at each country's rates. Device terms depend on your countries and fleet, so we calculate them for your routes.
Do I need an OMV fuel card?
SmartPass runs under an OMV account, together with the OMV Card fuel card. You can order both through ONYX, and the offer explains how to combine them for your fleet.
Can I switch to SmartPass from Eurowag or DKV?
Yes. We help you plan the device switch so you do not pay twice during the transition.
Is EETS mandatory?
No. EETS is the carrier's choice: one device instead of separate devices and accounts in each country. Toll rates are the same as in the national systems.
How fast can I get and mount the device?
We usually arrange delivery within a few days of signing the contract. Mounting is quick.
